Bamford House Hotel

The location was good and the staff and owners were very helpful and friendly, the room was good and everything needed was there

unfortunately on the first night of a 4 night stay, one person staying in the room next door to mine was very noisy from 3am in the morning till gone 9am, which ment i had no sleep at all. Once i raised it with the owners in he morning there were very quick and helpful to ensure it didnt happen again

The location is very close to the new multi story car park and perfectly located for visits to Blackpool Tower, central pier and amusements. The rooms are clean and the premises quiet.

There weren't any major issues. If I was to be picky there are no facilities on the premises. However there are places nearby. A desk and chair in the room would have been nice but it wasn't something I was expecting as few bed and breakfasts rarely offer them.

I received a call from the hotel at 4pm on the day of my stay to say there had been a leak and they were trying to move me to another hotel. This is the second time this has happened here. On a previous occasion, they had overbooked, so this seems to be an ongoing issue. I declined the alternative hotel and explained I would either accept a refund or stay at the original hotel as booked. I was told they would “move people around” and that my room would be ready when I arrived. When we arrived at 5pm, the room was still not ready. I was told it was in the middle of being cleaned. When I asked to see the room, it was completely unacceptable. The carpets were dirty, there were cigarette ends all over the floor, and there was a very unpleasant smell. Overall, this was a very disappointing experience, especially as it’s now happened more than once. I would not recommend staying here.

Location is excellent. Bed comfortable. Clean bedding and towels. Good free wifi

Thin walls resulting in a lot of noise heard from other guests. Carpets, curtains and windows need a deep clean.
