Castle

had propably best breakfast in Georgia here. Owner is very kind. Overall this place deserves the score o 9/10 if not for one thing: the smell of cigaretts.

The owner has a chair downstairs with an ashtray next to it, the smoke goes up into the rooms. He doesnt smoke when guests are there but the walls in rooms already absorbed the smell. If you dont like smell of cigaretts go somwhere else. However if you are a smoker than this place is great. Also the owner has a 'smoker caugh' at night so consider bringing earplugs if you are light sleeper. I advise you to walk inside to see the rooms before you book to see if find the smell disturbing.

Very welcoming, helpful owner. Provided me with lots of infos, tips and recommendations, offered to call a taxi for me to sapara monastery. I got a decent price thanks to him! I felt very safe and welcomed (which is rare for a solo female traveler.) would definitely visit again! Also a good location close to the castle. the bus stop & supermarket right in front.

Light was a bit dim

Nikolas warmly greeted us upon arrival and he was the perfect host. The room was spotlessly clean and very comfortable with the addition of a small sofa and table. Our room was bright with a window featuring a lovely view to the castle. The bathroom was also clean and there was plenty of hot water at the shower. Towels were fresh and clean. We found the bed to be comfortable with fresh, clean sheets. The room also had a fan and a mirror with a shelf and hooks. An electric kettle, coffee/tea mugs and wine glasses added a nice touch. Strong wi-fi signal and a reliable connection with fast download and upload speeds. Excellent location below the town's castle, steps away from quaint restaurants, local shops and the central marshrutka station. In all, a very peaceful stay and an excellent value. This was our first accommodation in Georgia and it was the perfect choice. Thank you. Nikolas!

Great location very close to the city center and Rabati Castle. Really delicious breakfast. Host was very nice and friendly. Really cool for it's price

The accommodation is very close to the fortress. The hosts are very nice and helpful. We were happy to take advantage of their offer and order dinner. The lady of the house prepared for us homemade chinkali, salad, pickled eggplant, we tasted homemade cheese and at the end we had dessert. The room is comfortable, sanitary facilities were part of it. Thank you for a wonderful 2 days in Akhaltsia
