Perfect location in the middle of Bowness and Windermere. Clean and very well presented. There was so much information available in the lounge about the surrounding areas, walks and attractions. Cindy and Ken were wonderful hosts, very welcoming and very happy to help.

"Perfect from start of holiday to the end of our holiday"

Everything spotlessly clean, comfortable Ken and Cindy absolutely wonderful couple nothing too much trouble very knowledgeable about the area and where to go breakfast was absolutely fantastic. Could not fault the stay at all perfect 10. Best B&B we’ve ever stayed in thank you Karen and Cindy will see you again.

We have just returned from a wonderful weekend away at the exceptional Denehurst Guest House. Ken & Cindy were so welcoming and caring and couldn’t have done more for us. Our room was lovely and clean with the most comfortable bed we’ve ever stayed in. There were numerous options for breakfast, everything we had was delicious. I would highly recommend staying here and wouldn’t hesitate to book again when visiting Windermere.

"Best place to stay in the lake district"

Ken and Cindy are the most lovely hosts you could wish for. The guest house is very cosy, as are the rooms. The breakfast was delicious and their local knowledge was very helpful. We hope to come back 😊

"Wonderful stay!"

Great location, equidistant from Windermere station and Bowness so it was easy to walk to either. Room was spotless and the bed was so comfortable, we both slept very well. Lovely quiet location even with the primary school nearby. We tried out most of the different breakfast offerings. All were delicious. There was plenty of fresh fruit, yogurt and granola. There breakfast room was bright and airy and the tables nicely spaced out. There is a comfy lounge to sit in with loads of information about the area, plus maps and walks you can take with you on an outing. Ken and Cindy are amazing hosts, so friendly and helpful, we couldn’t have asked for a better overall experience.
