Stunning views, the lodge is a historic building with some very interesting architecture. Friendly staff greeted me & gave me a tour around. Great samplings for breakfast too.

"A Hotel in beautiful surroundings - but poor quality bedroom and food facilities"

It was a DIY breakfast NOT a cooked breakfast !

A single bed --NOT suitable for an adult .Most hotels have at least a double sized bed NOT single A shared toilet- not good - Not en-suite !

Regina was very welcoming and helpful & always available by phone if needed.

It was clear that Regina & her partner are working very hard to maintain a grade 2 listed property, but it is an uphill struggle. Good luck to them!

Thin curtains, too many leds in room - too bright at night! The room door difficult to open.
