Outstanding. Wonderful period building, but with all the mod cons. Lovely owners. Beautiful hotel & beautiful people.

Would have appreciated someone checking the cleanliness of one of the shared toilets a bit more. This was due to a messy guest though & not the owners.

The location was beautiful. The hotel was great. You definitely don't have a cold room! The manager was lovely. The facilities were good. Really good weekend.

I found the room too hot but able to sort this out. Also this is a personal choice and should not be seen as a criticism.

"Home away from home."

The property was in a great location on it's own grounds and great parking. The lodge was amazing. Stunning in a listed building way. The room was very clean and well supplied with tea and coffee options. TV, kettle and variety of USB plugs/sockets. I was with a group of stitchers and we occupied the lounge and it had perfect lighting. We basically took over the whole room and Regina was fine with it.

There wasn't anything to dislike! Some of the doors were a bit sticky and heavy but that was only due to new carpets.

"Beautiful stay, can’t wait to visit again"

I stayed in the apartment within the property. It was perfect for what we needed for the weekend. Great facilities. Beautiful area. Quiet. Landscape/surroundings are gorgeous. We were greeted on arrival and given a tour of the premises the shown to our apartment. Kitchen was perfect size and integrated well within the living space. Bedroom is cosy and warm, the bed is dreamy to sleep on. Bathroom is huge, bath and shower!

Lovely old building in need of TLC

Unfortunately I didn’t see Regina before I left but would have mentioned that the bed sheet had a number of holes in it. The room was draughty with rattling doors and windows but appreciate that it was an extremely windy night. With some investment this could be a beautiful hotel.
