An amazing change for someone travelling for business. Incredibly polite and personal hosts with little touches that made it special. Felt like a little holiday when away for work!

It was absolutely lovely, and unfortunately we only stayed one night, but would have liked to stay longer. The host was absolutely lovely, very welcoming, the rooms were perfect. We only used the hotel because we were on the ferry the next day, which was a shame as we would have enjoyed staying longer if we could have.

"Peaceful and quiet"

The room was comfortable with easy chairs too. The homemade cookies were tasty. We had peace and tranquillity looking out onto trees and fields. On street parking. The breakfast was good too.

If I could give a higher mark for the staff, I would. Honestly, Jo is amazing, made my stay very relaxing and comfortable, making sure I had everything I could possibly need. While I never met Sam, thank you for my little treats! Those biscuits were amazing and going out of your way to make them vegan, thank you! Cute little sleepy town, perfect distance from Stranraer and Portpatrick - a stunning little town with great coastal and woodland walks. There's a picnic area just down the road, along the waters edge. Street parking outside the B&B was easy and free. I didn't struggle to find a spot. Stranraer is a disc zone parking town (I was not aware of this). However, there is a large free carpark along the foreshore. You will be well looked after here.

"Everything we hoped for and more."

Perfect location, a few hundred metres from the shore of Loch Ryan. Guest house is situated on a quiet road with views of fields at both ends of our room and bathroom. The breakfast was excellent, freshly cooked to order and served in a quiet dining room at a time to suit. The large twin room was very comfortable with a huge bathroom and extremely quiet. Jo recommended a lovely walk for the evening around the Corsewall Estate, taking in lovely woods with varied wildflowers and ending up on the tranquil and clean shore of Loch Ryan, opposite the ferry port of Cairnryan. Well signposted, with good paths, maintained by the Corsewall Estate. Perfect after a day's travel.
