Bourton House

Clean, orderly, comfy bed and spacious.

A mini table would of been nice in the room to place stuff in.

The location was very good for the city centre. The house was very well kept to a very high standard. The room where stayed was well designed, comfortable with tea & coffee making facilities and television.

There was nothing that I did not like.

The spacious bedroom, bathroom and toilet facilities and the quiet location, only a two minutes walk into the town centre.

There is nothing not to like about this accommodation.

Walking distance from the town, clean & warm rooms. Rads were scorching which I turned down to save electric. Comfortable bed & window which I could open to get some fresh air. I don't like hotels that you can't open the windows so this was a plus.

I received a message to say I would find the front door key in the key cabinet & given the passcode. Then my own keys would be inside the property. Unfortunately, the key wasn't in the key cabinet so I had no way of getting in. I phoned Lyndsey who blamed one of the other guests for not leaving the key. I think if you are leaving a key somewhere, it is imperative it's not accessible to anyone else because you can't guarantee the key will be there. Lyndsey asked if I wanted her to come to the guest house, but was quite hesitant & a couple of times suggested that there was a key around the back, & suggested I perhaps use that to get in. I asked her to come to the house but despite saying she would be less than 10 minutes, she was 20 minutes. I was a lone female & having to stand out on a street in a strange town wouldn't have been a particularly nice experience. Luckily I had a friend with me but that's obviously not the point. Now I've read the reviews I see this has been a problem in the past. I've marked as disappointing solely due to not being able to get in.

The high standard of the upkeep of the property, the quality of the decor from the foor to the celiling. All the you might need had been thoughtout from arrival to departure.

There was nothing that you could complain about, and I mean nothing.

Lovely place to stay for a night whilst visiting friends in Rugby. Cosy and warm in a quiet location. Will definitely stay again.

Location close to the city center, quiet area, comfortable bed, spotlessly clean. I can only recommend it to everyone.
