Bourton House

The distance between the accommodation and the venue I attended. It was a very short walk to Rugby Indian Association where I went dancing and having a few beers. Some might say perfect!

I was very lucky to get a space out the door however if I hadn't there were no clear directions to the car park behind the property. It was difficult to initially get in as the key box was difficult to see and then the key didn't work. I had a good night and found that the front door key from room bunch worked perfectly. I got into my room went to the kitchen to fill my kettle, boiled it then switched on the bed side lamp and TV perfect you think however within a couple of minutes channel hopping there was a click and all the power points in the room went dead! So I could not charge my phone but that didn't matter too much as the WiFi router had gone off as well! It could have been worse I guess at least the main light in the room and the rest of the lights worked!

The room was a great size and spotless, the bed was incredibly comfortable. I felt right at home and enjoyed staying there. The Wi-Fi was fast and reliable, and there was an armchair and a foldable table which made it easy to get work done.

Overall positive. Convenient, quiet, centrally located, warm and clean. Kettle, teas and coffees, milk & sugar sachets in the room. Flexible check-in and check-out. Good WiFi and TV in room. Very good value for money.

There are 2.5 parking spaces at the moment - possibly more when the scaffolding currently around the building is taken down. I was not able to park at the property, but fortunately was able to find a space in one of the nearby streets. My ground floor single room was fine, but the 2 shower rooms with toilets and sinks were at the other end of the corridor with a step up/down in between - not ideal for an older man!

Very clean house, huge room, tidy facilities. TV & coffee boiler in the room. Quiet neigbourhood.

No towels for personal use, no rubbish bins in bathrooms, same as shower gels or shampoos.

Maybe get rid of the "puffy" light fixture -- I kept hitting it when I was changing.
