Proximity to train station and easy access to city centre. Room private and generally quiet, with seating outdoors.

Access to room was difficult with a large suitcase, as had to drag it over large chippings - a smooth surface would make access a lot easier. Check-out time at 10.30 was too early. Wifi a bit problematic. As there was no breakfast provision a small fridge would have been useful to store purchased breakfast items.

"Comfortable, convenient and friendly."

The location was great for us. We needed to be close to the station and race course. 10 minute walk from station and around £11 to race course in a taxi. Nice little room at front of property. Shared bathroom. Very comfortable. Staff were lovely and friendly. Allowed us early access-super friendly and helpful before our arrival. No breakfast, but only a 15-minute walk to the nearest Wetherspoons, so no problem.

If there had been a breakfast option we would've paid extra but a short walk to local pub solved this.
