Grassington House

Our room (number 10) was finish beautifully to compliment the age of the house, very elegant and spacious room with views to the front of the hotel and over looking the village square. Free car parking and a lovely choice of breakfasts included The owners of the hotel were so friendly and helpful too

The only down side to the stay was the temperature of our room. Number 10 was right at the top of the hotel. With the heatwave we have been experiencing of late it did get very uncomfortable in there of a night. You could open the windows but I am a very light sleeper so unfortunately they had to remained closed.

Food was good and the service also good

The room was eccentricly furnished with a plastic chandelier over the bed-bedside lights which bordered on dangerous! The shower was hopeless you waited ages for warm water with little power when it came flashing lights like a disco and no way of avoiding hair soaking!

Oh this must be the best Hotel right in the centre of Grassington! Just off the square set back maybe 25 feet from the cobbles. Perfect mix of old & modern styles, some rooms have a double bed with roll top bath in the main room with a separate en suite with a walk in shower, others are a little more compact without the roll top bath. Great shower, comfy bed, was lovely and warm, but you could open the windows if you wanted to. Freeview TV if you need it, telephone to call other rooms or reception. The Bar is small but very friendly with a decent range of drinks... Breakfast was fantastic, we all had Full English, everything was sourced locally and tasted amazing. Can't find anything negative to say, great visit. Highly recommend the Hotel. Thank you to the owners & staff!

Food was good. All served piping hot. Limited menu as it was near Christmas. Comfortable bed, nice spacious room. Parking on site which is very limited in Grassington. Toiletries were lovely. Provided by a local soap company.

No prices on the drink or cocktail menus. Did not get an itemised bill on check out. Our fault, we should have asked for one. But be aware.

Location was central it was perfect Breakfast was excellent, the young lady on service was extremely polite and professional.
