The location and restaurant food, especially the fish sharing platter.

The staff are extremely helpful and friendly a real credit to the hotel

A way of storing fresh milk in room tried to make a cuppa in the morning and the milk was sour

Beautiful restaurant service, literally nothing was any trouble (fabulous smoked salmon and scrambled eggs)

The bedroom was so small, lovely for one person but very tight for two with a small thin bathroom (number 8) but the fabulous bedding made up for it and lovely tea/coffee trolley. Staff were super attentive.

Perfect location ,great staff ,food was excellent, Husband /wife owners were very nice and informative.

The location was very convenient especially for local walks. Our room was extremely comfortable and staff made sure our every needs were catered for. I can’t emphasise enough how friendly and polite all the staff were making us feel relaxed during our stay.

Nice bedroom and bathroom. Good breakfast. Friendly staff. Excellent evening meal in the restaurant.

We would have liked an earlier breakfast. 8:30 was the earliest and we were on a working tour so needed an earlier start. 8:00 would have been better.

The room I thought was slightly small and required a little bit of TLC, however, I appreciate it was one of the less expensive rooms, as basically we only needed a place to stay overnight, any longer we would probably have opted for a larger room. The room probably could have done with redecorating, but again realise we nearing the end of a busy season.

The bed was very comfortable for my liking.

The rooms were lovely and the food was world class.
