La chambre était très propre et confortable. L’accès fut facile. L’endroit est bien situé à environ une vingtaine de minutes de marches pour atteindre le New et Old Town. Le déjeuner était excellent, au delà de nos attentes.

Die Frau, die Frühstück vorbereitet hat war ganz freundlich. Frühstück war gut. Das Bett war bequem und das Zimmer sauber.

Da mein Zimmer ganz oben war, war es sehr warm. Ein Ventilator war vorhanden, was Nachts geholfen hat. Das Fenster könnte man zwar kippen, aber die viel befahrene Ferry Road war für mich zu laut dafür.

Ontbijt was goed, aardige mensen

Very friendly and super helpful staff - let me leave my bags and also check in early. I asked for and was given a quiet room at the back. The bed was very comfortable, TV,, teas and coffees in the room, easy chairs, good bedside lighting, WiFi, decent no frills shower room, nicely decorated. The Brig o Doon is right on the bus route to the city, walking distance to the gorgeous Botanic Gardens, near to cafes and takeaways. The breakfast was good and served by a lovely lady. I had a great night's sleep and would happily stay again.

The only thing was the slightly erratic plumbing - but it's an old house and I was on the top floor. It wasn't a major issue - just the only thing I could think of that was negative.
