Marques Sands Hotel

practical and clean. good location.

The hotel was quaint, and run by a couple older ladies who were just delightful. A check in experience that was very cute! They always responded to messages on Booking.com, and were very accomodating. Even though there is no 'check in' desk, they were able to hold my luggage after check out for the day. Super accomodating! Check in is just ringing the doorbell, and the lovely lady greets you. Just putting that in here because I was unsure of the process until I went through it myself! 5 mins to Tescos and a few mins extra to town centre. 10 -15 min walk to pier.

Not much! The exhaust fan in the bathroom works hard, but is not overly efficient. No fans or air con, so I can imagine the summer could be difficult here, but the window provided a nice bit of airflow.

Great hosts. Brilliant location and easy walk to the beach. Comfy bed. What more could you ask for?

Could do with a full length mirror

Location was excellent to towncentre and seafront.

The check in process was terrible. A miscommunication which left me hanging around for over an hour. Instructions could have been clearer. There was no parking so had to park in an outdoor long stay carpark which looked abit dodgy to me. Thankfully car was ok but it wasn't cheap.

Bright, clean, and comfortable. The people we met were polite and welcoming.

Parking was difficult. But we did find a 24hr car park within a 5 minute walk. As we were only staying one night, we did not mind paying.

Dichtbij het strand/centrum, genoeg koffie/thee op de kamer, mooie knusse kamer, luxe douche, lekker bed.

Het kon best warm zijn in de kamer en besloot om de dekbedovertrek alleen te gebruiken met slapen. Het was best een dikke ik vermoed winterdekbed deken. Misschien dat ze in de lente/zomerperiode beter een zomersdekbed kunnen klaarmaken of een ventilator. Maar verder was het prima!

They gave tea and coffee

The room was to small . We had to push the bed away from the wall as I couldn’t keep crawling up and down the bed to get in and out to get up in the night to go to the toilet. We were booked in for a week and had to live out of suite cases as there wasn’t a draw or a shelf or a wardrobe to put any of our clothing.
