Marques Sands Hotel

Place is owned by a lovely lady. The room is cute and confortable. The hotel is very close to restaurants and pubs. A 12 minutes walk will take you to the pier.

Nothing to complain about!

Was in a okay area, it was better than some of the other accommodation/hotels available. Room was decent enough and it met the required standards. I might consider coming back to the hotel at some point in the future.

The sockets on the back of the wall next to the table, there wasn't enough space between the socket/table so I had to move the table out slightly. Only a minor thing though and nothing that would deter myself or others from staying at the hotel. The other thing was there wasn't many chairs in the room but again only a minor thing and it doesn't mean I wouldn't return to the hotel/same room again. The front door took some practicing to open but I got there in the end.

Clean and tidy, good location

Dueña muy amable y atenta. Nos guardó las mochilas todo el día sin costo. Cama muy cómoda y mucho té i café para usar.

Ein ehemaliges Wohnquartier, das heute den ganzen Ferienwohnungen wich. Uns gefiel es sehr, es hatte Flair. Begrüsst wurden wir von einer älteren Dame, die uns sehr sympathisch war. wir hatten uns darauf eingestellt, dass es ein einfaches Zimmer mit Dusche ist und wurden nicht enttäuscht

Die Nachbarschaft ist abends etwas unheimlich - wir begegneten sprayenden jungen Männern, eingeschlagenen Autos und diversen Gestalten in Hoddies

Very clean hotel, spotless.

Good location

Shower does not drain.Could only have 1 1/2 minute shower as water was about to overflow the shower tray.

The location was great for me. One end of the road was the beach, and the other end was near all the shops. The road to where the accommodation is not particularly pleasing upon arrival, and parking can be difficult, but it is very central to my needs.

Be very difficult to park outside. Residential road without any off-street parking. No breakfast is available but many restaurants around the corner to eat.

The place was very clean and well-kept. The bed was very comfortable, lots of surfaces available to place your luggage and clothes. It looked as if it was recently refurbished. The location was close to the town centre as well as the seafront and pier. The host was lovely.

The insulation is quite poor (it may be because it's an older building) - we could hear people above us getting ready to go out then returning late in the night.
