The Bakehouse

The Bakehouse is just perfect, it has everything you need & more. It is just so comfortable & in a great location & a delicious breakfast too. Julie is a perfect hostess too, just so happy, kind, friendly and will help you with anything. We felt so privileged to have The Studio. We can't wait to return next year.

what a fabulous find. the house was large very very clean and welcoming. Julie (the owner) was on hand if necessary although we didn't need her. 5 minutes walk to the habour, 2 minutes to the pub! I would recommend this property whole heartedly.

On street parking no where else it could be. Permit for all Northumberland available in the house

Julie was welcoming, friendly and assisted in us being able fully experience the area. Her recommendation for the boat trip and eating at the Black Swan left us with a great memory. She also makes a great breakfast.

We had continental breakfast the first morning, it was in a beautiful picnic basket and had everything we needed from fruit juice, cheese and ham to warm pastries, and fresh coffee. All really well presented. Next morning we had a cooked breakfast which was also so good. The host Julie is so welcoming and helpful, we would definitely stay here again and would recommend to my family and friends.

What a wonderful place the Bakehouse is, beautifully decorated, clean as a whistle and as comfortable as home. Julie is a cheerful and loving host providing excellent customer service. We booked B&B and enjoyed tasty granola with yogurt and berries with fresh orange juice followed by a delicious home cooked breakfast with tea/coffee.

Fabulous hostess. Julie is very welcoming and her attention to detail is superlative. A relaxing 2 days. Weather was very cold. The house is warm and comfortable. Delightful.
