We recently stayed for two nights in The Stables and honestly, it was absolutely lovely from start to finish. The location is perfect, with stunning views all around and such a peaceful atmosphere. One of the things we loved most was how quiet it was – the ideal place to switch off, relax, and enjoy the countryside. The rustic aesthetic gives the property so much character, while still feeling comfortable and welcoming. From the moment we arrived, it felt like a home away from home. The homemade brownies waiting for us were a wonderful touch and set the tone for the stay. There are lots of thoughtful little extras throughout that make the place feel cosy, homely, and well cared for. The accommodation itself was spotless. Everything was exceptionally clean, and the bed was incredibly comfortable, giving us two great nights' sleep. The large shower was another highlight – spacious, modern, and perfect after a day exploring the area. The views are simply amazing and can be enjoyed from the property, making it a wonderful place to sit back and unwind. Every detail seems to have been considered to make guests feel welcome and comfortable. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend The Stables to anyone looking for a peaceful countryside escape. A beautiful place to stay, full of charm, comfort, and thoughtful touches. We can't wait to return.

If we're being really picky, the only minor downside was that there wasn't a plug socket next to the bed, so we had to charge our phones from across the room overnight. That said, this was a very small inconvenience and certainly didn't detract from our stay in any meaningful way. Everything else was so wonderful – from the beautiful location and stunning views to the cosy, homely feel, comfortable bed, and thoughtful touches throughout. Compared to all the positives, it barely felt worth mentioning, but it's the only thing we could think of that could be improved.

We arrived and were very happy with the accommodation and location and views were fantastic. On top of that, we were welcomed with chocolate brownies left for us buy the hosts.

Living area was home comforts. Kitchen very well equipped. Good size bedroom and bathroom. All clean and comfortable.

Location was absolutely beautiful. We liked the table outside for meals. It was cosy, fully equipped, all very comfortable. We found it easily.

Gawjus views. Total Peace & quiet. Immaculately clean & well equipped. If you want seclusion & peace it’s perfect.

I would recommend bringing Camping chairs with you - the wrought iron patio seating is charming, bt not meant for relaxed sitting with a Cocktail for long periods.

Beautiful location. Very comfy bed and really well equipped kitchen. Lounge was very homely. A lot of lovely walks on the doorstep. Made very welcome by hosts.

I couldn't get any Internet to look at weather or local walks but the leaflets left in lounge were very helpful for walks in area.
