Property is self catering and perfect for one person. It is cosy and comfortable, with everything you need, and set in beautiful surroundings in the hills of Cumbria, not far from the Yorkshire Dales. Idyllic for someone who likes to be out in the wilds, surrounded by nature. The host adds a little bonus by leaving a sweet treat on the dining table.

I needed to ask the host for help with heating and the shower, but she was very obliging and helpful, and solved the problem, taking responsibility for explaining everything as clearly as possible.

We loved the stunning location and using the dog field was an absolute treat. Our pup couldn’t stop smiling. Our stay was on a wet March weekend and we are dreaming of returning in the sunnier weather to sit and enjoy the spectacular views.

We stayed in the Stables, ground floor and you can hear people moving around in the flat above. Not a big issue at all.

Great location if your after peace , quiet, wildlife and scenery. Property itself spotlessly clean and super well equipped.

Perfectly situated for where we wanted to Walk. Clean and comfortable.

Probably the noise from the immersion in the bedroom. Otherwise fab.

We loved the quiet secluded location

We loved everything about our stay, The Stables had a lovely cosy feel to it, after been out in the cold it was lovely to come back and get warm and settled. The place and quiet of the area was just what we needed.
