Runa Guest House

The property was very spacious and had everything needed for a comfortable stay. It is close too many of the islands attractions and owner Rob was very knowledgeable on the islands history.

Runa Guest house is lovely. The apartment was extremely well equipped, warm and comfortable, a wonderful place to return to after days out exploring Orkney Mainland. Robert, the owner, is extremely knowledgeable about local history and the locality. He was very helpful in suggesting places for me to go that I would physically be able to visit (I'm a bit restricted mobility-wise at present due to injury) - which I very much appreciated. I can highly recommend the Guest House - and will definitely be booking a return visit. The green credentials of the Guest House are to be highly commended too. Excellent.

Great location for all the main sites. Very freindly and helpfull Staff, with excellent local knowledge.

Absolute gem of a place - great location, clean, well equipped, excellent host who was also kind enough to give us the heads up when the northern lights appeared one evening - wonderful week staying here.

Very comfortable accommodation, as per description, and the location suited me well. Rob was a welcoming host and responsive to queries.

The host was great left you in privacy but always available should you require any information or advice

For us, it was great, but be aware it is a trek to anywhere car would be a must for most people.

Lovely. Warm and comfortable. Having Netflix was really good for the dark evenings.
