Wye Valley Hotel

The choice of breakfast was excellent and it tasted lovely on both mornings we stayed . Everything was cooked well and served at a good pace which allowed us time to eat our cereal or fruit.

My main complaint which I addressed with the young lady on reception was that I had paid for a double bed and we were put in a room with two singles pushed together. I felt that for the money we paid, the room was comfortable but missing things like a USB socket for my phone cable and there was no extractor in the bathroom (It was a good job it wasn't winter, as I had the window open full to let the steam out).

A walking holiday, so the location, the Wye Valley Walk, was perfect. Also very close to Tintern Abbey. Comfortable bed, very sociable owners, beer was good, tucker was good. price was good

Lovely country hotel with good parking, just a mile from Tintern Abbey. Great location. Very friendly staff, great bar food - check out the damson and sloe gin ice cream- awesome- plus very good breakfast. Highly recommended

The dinner and breakfast were excellent. Location was great, providing a wonderful walk along the Wye River.

Better toiletries in the in room bathrooms. When considering modernization, place a lift in the hotel for older and disabled patrons.
