"A happy place to get away from the bustle"

Great place to get into the history and culture of the Wye Valley. Not good for getting anywhere quickly! Staff were so helpful, cheerful and kind. The food at dinner and breakfast was always served piping hot!

My bed was too firm and the rooms look out on to the road which can be noisy early in the morning.

It was conveniently situated and the staff were very friendly and helpful.

The reception room interiors are a bit dated and could do with an upgrade to match the bedroom decor.

The hotel is situated in a lovely part of the valley. The evening meal was very good as was breakfast. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the hotel to someone else or revisit in the future.
