Wye Valley Hotel

Very clean,quiet and comfortable. Home-made pie bed and red wine for dinner eaten at an outside table in the evening sun Lovely cooked to order breakfast. An old school family run small hotel: the kind you very rarely get these days in a world or corporate chains. Comfortable bed with high quality sheets and bedding. The bedroom wasn’t huge, but really well equipped, very light and immaculately clean.

Location was great - within walking distance of Tintern Abbey and walks along the river side directly from the hotel. Dinner was really good and great value. the room was comfortable - good size and quite a large bathroom.

I don't think there was anything we didn't like - but the building and furniture were perhaps a little tired.

Lovely place in a really good location. Barry and Sue and staff were lovely nothing was too much trouble for them .Rooms were lovely and comfortable and the food is very goo. Lovely place and we had a lovely stay .

Location, good breakfast. Rooms well equipped and very clean.

Bed was a little lumpy on ine side.
