A lovely quirky place! A little old fashioned but nicely so. A proper family run place with excellent home made food. We'd definitely go there again even though it was a bit on the expensive side.

Friendly welcome although we arrived early! Thank you Beautifully cooked breakfast plenty of choice and tasty evening meal available, nice after a long drive that day.

The stairs are very steep… however it is noted in the review. Just a little surprised how steep.

Attractive bar serving good food menu, lunch and evenings Good selection on breakfast menu with prompt service. Hotel situated on Wye Valley walking circuit and short distance from stunning, 12thC Tintern Abbey. Forest of Dean and Chepstow within easy reach.
