"A bit of a disastrous start to our holiday."

Room was clean and comfortable, all we needed for our short stay.

As this was advertised a Guesthouse we didn’t realise it was a coded property and room. On arrival (around 8.30pm)we couldn’t get in through the gate and the bell went to an answer phone message. Luckily someone was leaving so we could get through the gate, we then couldn’t get into our room. We kept leaving messages with the mobile number we had (a staff member had called earlier in the day to arrange an earlier clean of our room, unfortunately no mention of check in details) but nobody got back to us until we were finally ( by some miracle of guessing the code) in our room and had been for an hour or so. If I hadn’t had a call earlier in the day there would have not been anyone to contact. We will stay in the Holiday Inn next time. No issues with the room.
