No cold water working in the shower. Television poor reception. No chair to sit on in the room.

The room was filthy, mould in the bathroom. Disgusting

The rooms are old, as you can tell from the furniture and carpets, but they're clean. The water was warm, and there is an electric kettle in the room. When we asked for a second towel, they brought it right to our room immediately. Also the location is ok - the train station is about a 10-minute walk away.

As I mentioned, the room is old. It also has a very small bathroom; specifically, the toilet is positioned in such a way that it takes up a lot of space, and if you’re bigger, you might have trouble moving around in there. The bathroom door is a bit of a challenge too - there’s no handle on the inside, so if you push the door shut too far, it might take you quite a while to get out.

We stayed here over the weekend and, on first impressions, the bedroom looked good and matched the photos online. The room appeared tidy, the bed was very comfortable, and the sheets and towels were clean. Parking is available on the pavement right beside the building, although it’s not very obvious when trying to find it.

Unfortunately, there were several issues that affected our stay. I used the toilet shortly after arriving and nearly fell due to a broken toilet seat. The bathroom sink had someone else’s hair on it, and although the tea and coffee tray was stocked, the cups and spoon were clearly unwashed, so we didn’t feel comfortable using them. The room was set up as a family room with a double and a single bed, but there was only one bedside table next to the single bed. I had to use the desk chair as a makeshift bedside table. There was visible mould on the ceiling. The large windows also lacked privacy glass, meaning the room is fully visible from the street if the curtains are open. There was no hairdryer provided—although to be fair, this wasn’t listed in the room description, so that was my oversight. The shower room had more issues. The shower temperature was very inconsistent, fluctuating between freezing cold and lukewarm. While the water pressure was strong, the shower hose was split, causing water to spray everywhere. The shower itself is small, and the curtain sticks to you when moving. I actually felt less clean after using it. The bathroom door also lacks an internal handle, so it couldn’t be properly closed. There are no mirrors in the main room, so getting ready has to be done in the small shower room, where the lighting is poor and the mirror is in bad condition. At around 9:30pm, the fire alarm went off. There was no guidance on whether to evacuate, so my partner went to check the hallway. We could hear movement from other guests, followed by a strong smell of burning fat coming from downstairs. The alarm stopped shortly after, and with no further communication, we assumed there was no real emergency—which was quite unsettling. The walls are extremely thin, and noise from neighbouring rooms is very noticeable, especially the sliding bathroom doors, which sound very loud.

Good location close to town and a shop, bed was comfy. Paid for a single but given a double room with en suite (very basic shower, loo and sink). Man who helped me check in was very friendly and welcoming. Room appeared to be clean overall.

Toilet had not been cleaned or even flushed! Seat was loose/broken. Sliding door coming off tracks - room needs some maintenance. Sink too close to loo!

Good location (15 min walk to and from the train station), friendly staff, decent and comfortable room. On the street i've met 2 dogs (with owners), lovely friendly dogs ( I love dogs♡).

The neighbour next door was playing radio or tv very loudly and I couldn't rest too well for some time but at night I had a good sleep with my meditation music.
