Ronas House

How often do you get to have a delicious breakfast prepared by a chef who was named Scottish Restaurant Chef of the Year in his former life? That’s what you get at Ronas House—along with an immaculately clean, comfortable room in a lovely neighborhood in Inverness, convenient to restaurants and a lovely river walk. Thanks for your hospitality, Joyce and Alan!

The bedroom was very comfortable with ample space to move around, manage our luggage (not all places are). The house is located in a very pleasant, quiet neighbourhood and a short walk to restaurants, museums, shopping and theatre. Joyce and Alan were wonderful hosts providing a nice selection of home cooked breakfasts.

Nothing - all was very good.

The stay was like a time travel, cause the house is full of tiny and wonderful detail that make you feel like you’re in some novel from the mid 20th century. At the same time all modern equipment is in place and the hosts provide an absolutely amazing breakfast

Belle et grande chambre avec un oriel sympa, belle maison, beau quartier calme. Grand lit confortable, super petit- déjeuner complet avec bon produits frais.

Une fenêtre qui ne fermait pas laissant entrer l'air (froid) et le bruit. Le chauffage coupé trop tôt dans la salle de bain le soir. Les rideaux non occultant, il fait jour dans la chambre au petit matin.

早餐非常好，老板作为厨师，在1986年获得过英国最佳风味奖。他亲自下厨，用餐的仪式感拉满，菜品不亚于星级酒店的点餐式早餐。

在风暴Amy来袭之际，夜间气温低至零度左右。居然在晚上11:00左右把暖气和热水都关了，导致室内温度急剧下降。考虑到时间比较晚了，没有去打扰老板一家休息，只能自己蜷缩在床上度过一夜。如果可能，我不会再考虑入住。

Joyce and Alan are a genuinely lovely couple. The house was beautiful, amazing breakfast, great shower and extremely clean. Joyce went out of her way helping us choose a restaurant. We would recommend The Whitehouse in Inverness, food and service excellent.
