Bed comfy, room beautifully decorated, breakfast delicious, only 8 rooms. Everything done to a very high standard.

"Fabulous place"

Fabulous room with everything you could want. Lovely and quiet. Comfy bed. Shower was super high powered, couldn't get out as ours dribbles in comparison. Breakfast was amazing in cozy dining room. Wi fi excellent. Very nice pub within walking distance. We will be back very soon

The breakfast was really good, Location was what i expected, Lovely, Very good value for money, Lovely owners rooms where very clean, Everything you needed in them, Defiantly stay there again

"English country gem"

Lovely quiet location, not too far off the beaten track with easy access to Warrington. Comfy room with bath and separate shower cubicle of generous size. And a tasty breakfast included.

If staying longer than the one night I would like the option of a second key.

"A nice quiet out of the way location for a peaceful and safe overnight stay."

The location was perfect for my overnight stay with my motorcycle. Quiet, safe, away from the main towns and roads. The bedroom was country cottage style. It was clean and warm. The mattress had seen better days and was very worn. The breakfast was plentiful and freshly prepared. The hosts and staff were very friendly and welcoming.

The mattress on the bed was very heavily worn. It would benefit from replacement.
