Exceptionally clean and warm. Wish we had a longer stay to appreciate the area and facilities.

Too warm, had to turn down heating and open window despite being end of Dec!

Bathroom clean but tired. Needs a quick refresh to wc seat, shower rose, rose holder and rail, grout, sliding door wheels then it will be 100%. I can see the cleaner does a great job but its all tired.

This was a lovely stop on our journey from the north of Scotland down to Norwich. It was very easy to find and only around ten minutes off the motorway. We were absolutely wowed by the bedrooms when we first went in. They were beautifully designed and spotless in almost every respect, and it was a real pleasure to stay somewhere so well thought out. The bed was huge and very comfortable, and the tea and coffee facilities were much appreciated. Breakfast was freshly cooked while we waited and was very tasty. The countryside surrounding the hotel was also beautiful and well worth taking time to enjoy. One thing we had not realised when booking was that the bedrooms are in a separate building from where breakfast is served. With cold and rainy weather this was a little inconvenient, but it is simply something future guests may wish to be aware of. Overall, we had a very enjoyable stay and would definitely come again.

The only small issue we noticed (feng shui room) was with two ornate wooden sculpture pieces made from tree branches beside the bed. They looked fantastic, but unfortunately they appeared not to have been dusted for quite some time, and there was a noticeable build up of dust. There was also a small rug in the sitting area that had some visible staining. These were minor points in an otherwise excellent room, but they could be a concern for guests with dust allergies, as the smell of the dust was noticeable even from the bed.
