Super friendly owner, clean room with private bathroom, very good location, very tasty breakfast and dinner! I really love Nato's food. She also helped me to arrange a driver to Vardzia, Khverti Fortress, Sapara Monastery at a reasonable price (the driver is also good)! I had a good time in Akhaltsikhe.

Clean place, conveniently close to the castle

Consider booking only if you like sleeping in a fridge. Asked for some heat, got a 30-minute warm-up, and then radiator went back off. Just a heads up, the thermostat's in the hands of the host. Spent the night in our winter jackets, got a sore throat as a bonus, and checked out at 7 am for a speedy escape to our car’s warmth. Polar bears would’ve felt more at home!

It was pleasure to stay with Host family. Very friendly and welcoming people, you feel like you are really at your own family. Communication was easy and straightforward. Room is very clean and well maintained. Especially I liked bed which was very comfortable. There are some others complaining shower is too close to toilet, but it is usual for traditional Georgian homes. If you want generic international experience then why are you looking for "family host" at all? Great value for money.

You could pay for a meal here. Breakfast: 15 lari Dinner: 30 lari The host is friendly and hospitality ,a very budget, and nice place to stay. Excellent location at the bottom of the castle. Get a mini bus to Tbilisi at Bus station, only walk for 2mins.

Lovely guest house with everything you need within 5 minutes to the castle. You should also go for breakfast and dinner in their nice backyard garden.

It's a little family run guest house but the room I had was elegant like a hotel room and it had a modern en-suite bathroom - luxury for a budget traveller. The WiFi worked well which is important for me. The host was friendly and helpful. And the location is just perfect: a minute from both the bus/marshrutka station and the fortress, right in the center of town in the flat part, so you don't have to climb any hill with your luggage.
