The location next to Preveli Beach

If you are looking for a super calm, very remote, no distractions place to stay right next to Preveli beach, this is it! A super nice family run the place, and it's very conveniently located next to the Preveli beach both where all the tourists go (the beach with the snack bar) and also in the other direction some lesser populated beaches right along the coastal highway. The rooms had great AC, a fridge, coffee for the morning, hot water, nice terraces and chairs, and comfortable beds. I loved the pretty trellis beneath the terraces that hovers above the taverna below. The rooms aren't glamourous, but they're great for a low key stay at the beach.

We like to cook and prepare our own food, but there weren't any plates or utensils. I probably could have asked to borrow some from the taverna downstairs, but we made do anyway. There is a fridge but not much else in terms of food prep. We didn't have a car (we took a taxi), so we brought easy to make food that we could keep in the fridge or use without utensils. The taverna (not affiliated with the hotel) was not to our liking, but there is a small shop across the street with sandwiches, water/soda, and chips where we could get some more provisions.

It is off season and booking mentioned one restaurant open and one closed. After booking I asked about this. Host is very helpful but made mistake beccause the restaurant was not operated by host was closed. So I had to go out for groceries again amd the roads are not the most easy to drive

Location. Price. Friendly staff. We've now stayed here twice in the past 5 years.

Bathroom door handle needs fixing in room #6. You can accidentally lock yourself in the bathroom...

Nice place. Clean, bright and close to the beach.

Everything (except the weather) was perfect, the owners were soo nice and lovely (: we will definitly come again!
