The hotel was easy to reach. Parking was not a problem. The food was great. Plenty of choice for both the evening meal and breakfast. Staff were very welcoming and helpful.

When we turned up they told us our room had been cancelled, so we had no room for after a wedding we were attending! They told us it was booking.com fault but booking.com said they don't cancel rooms so we got nowhere. Got the impression it was a "mistake" on the hotels part. Was especially annoying as had messaged the hotel requesting early check-in the month before which they replied to and accepted our request! The hotel looked like it was in a great location for various wedding venues
