Durbeyfield

Location is excellent, just back from the beach and main facilities. Donna and Mark have a 'project' ahead of them and they're making a good start. Breakfast and the room were fine, added bonus is the bar which the locals love too. We'll probably return next year to see how they've done.

Bloody gulls having a party at 5:00am. All was fine really.

The spot was awesome and the hosts were great. We really liked our time at Durbeyfield, plus they had a cool little bar with good ale and cider.

Mark and Donna made me feel so welcome and it’s clear they are going to make the Durbeyfield into something really lovely. When I arrived they told me all about their plans and it’s clear how much work they’ve put in already!

The new owners were so very friendly , a wonderful family and couldn't do enough for us to make our stay as relaxing and good as it was. The breakfast at Durbeyfield both mornings, was delicious. We had such a fantastic few days in west bay and did a lot of walking, coming back to our accommodation was wonderful, it felt very homely.

The place is under renovation, but it didn't matter as it was clean and comfortable .

location, really close walking distance to the town centre, beaches and harbour. free parking. super nice owners.

pretty sure my car was scratched at the parking place. not a lot of room and very big cars all around. the room did not have a socket near the bed, very inconvenient

Durbeyfield has recently changed owners so were in a period of transition but the staff (Donna) were really friendly and amenable. Very well positioned in West Bay and received recommendations of nearby pubs and places to eat from Donna

Just taken over by new owners who are looking to put some love back into the property as a whole. Very clean room, with parking and close to harbour and amenities. Owners friendly and accomodating. Would stay again.

Needs a dedicated reception area for arrivals. Bath tap was faulty or just slow as there was no real flow but shower was fine.
