Breakfast was splendid. Location was ideal

The window wouldn’t stay open and nothing to wedge it with. The door was very heavy- which we understood as it’s a fire door but it was Very loud and squeaky which was annoying esp if we needed the loo in the night. A towel rail or somewhere to hang a towel would be helpful.

"Cheap stay. Great breakfast. Would stay again despite few negatives."

Great location. Greeted by friendly staff. Breakfast was gorgeous. Piping hot too. Comfy bed. Hot shower.

Room 4 very very tired. Curtains hanging off rail. Window not shutting well and wind was howling through. Cold room despite rad being on. Telly remote didnt work. Staff did sort this issue out promptly when raised. Carpets very stained. Shower cubicle mouldy. General room appearance tatty and rundown. Such a shame because this building is old and in a great location.

The breakfast . It was beautifully cooked. And the young man who cooked it was really nice & helpful.

The cleanliness. The shower was mouldy & the toilet had brown stains in it. The carpet was stained , curtains were hanging off there tracks . We had to let ourselves in with a key lock which was fine but we didn’t see any staff members until breakfast. We were the only guests there & no staff either.
