Lovely clean place rooms really cosy ..owner was great really chatty and made you feel very welcome .and a great breakfast to finish off

Just a little way out of whitby ..but not a problem can easily get a taxi what only takes 10 mins

Ran out of hot water for the shower after one person.

It really wasn’t that much of a problem but had to keep the curtains shut when getting changed.

Linda, the owner was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable, and had an excellent shower. Breakfast was delicious - the sausages and bacon come from a local butcher and were of obvious quality. Having additional tea/coffee available on the landing and fresh milk and bottled water in the dining room fridge is a great touch. Having parking for the car is a bonus for Whitby.

Although it wasn't an issue for me, my friend struggled with the location. The property is around 25 minutes walk down into Whitby. This is even by taking the short cut which Linda described to us. If you just intend going into the town for the day and returning, this isn't an issue but if, like us, you like to return for a shower and a change of clothes before returning to the town for the evening, you are looking at around 5 miles of walking in addition to whatever else you do during the day. As I mentioned - not an issue for me, but it would be for some. Taxi's are of course an option.

Good location within walking distance of Whitby town centre and the walking trails. Very tasteful decor and spotlessly clean with a very helpful and friendly host. Great breakfasts!
