The Star Inn

The room was very clean and comfortable. The staff were nice and friendly. I would recommend this accommodation for anyone staying in Beeston, as it's close to the train station, tram stop and the high street.

It was very small and the mirrors are positioned for tall people. The bed was a bit lumpy

check in was relatively easy, the pub was busy (Friday night), and we were shown to our rooms within 10 minutes of arrival. Rooms were basic but clean and the bed was comfortable. The shower was fine with plenty of hot water. The noise from the bars was loud but dropped off @11pm so no real issues there.

My room had an extension lead wedged between the bed headboard and the mattress that the kettle and bed side lights were plugged in to. This could do with relocating as I see it as a potential fire risk. The walls all appear to be stud walls and quite thin so you could hear people in the next room

The room was clean and bright and light. It was a good size and the bathroom was very clean as well. I couldn't fault the support from the staff and how I was met with all my needs during my stay.

That the menus could be clearer on when there is food on. As this was difficult for me to see on the menus in the room, I double-checked to ensure that I was correct in my understanding of this.

The access to the room, the bathroom size, a wobbly loo, and the average quality of the twin beds match the price paid. Don't expect more.
