Riverside Kazbegi

Location was great. The room was superclean! View from the window was amazing!

We felt a bit like we were disturbing the family who hosted us. Maybe they had already a lot of tourists the past weeks.

Great views of the mountain and the monastery.

Not easy to find, as there is no hotel sign.

- nice room with a very comfortable bed - amazing breakfast - very nice owners who helped us arrange horse riding in the Truso Valley (a great attraction!!)

- too little surface in the room to keep our stuff - there was only one small bedside table so we needed to keep our things on the floor

The hosts - Nino and Georgi are amazingly kind people. The accommodation is an excellent value for money - simple, but solid, all you need to spend a night, cook your breakfast/lunch/tea, etc. It's perfect as a base for mountain climbers. While I was out in the hills, I got attacked and seriously bitten by shepherd dogs, so eventually had to spend a couple days in my bed. I didn't tell anyone what happened, just sneaked, limping into my room straight from a hospital. But Nino somehow figured out that something was not going according to the plan with me, asked me what happened, cooked me a broth, tea...I was very very touched. I will use this space to once again extend my great thanks to her and Georgi! All in all, the place is highly recommended!

The shower in the far room may be leaking into the room space - watch out for that!

The location is close to the center.. the room is clean with the private bathroom. The host family is nice. The price is so good.

The room is good with a private bathroom and a nice view over the mountains. The owner was friendly and nice.

The only bad thing is the bed makes some noise when you move.

Shared with a family, you hear the normal noise of a family. No privacy.

Well heated comfortable rooms, location is quiet and peaceful away from the town center yet at walking distance from the bus station. 2 huge but very adorable and non harmful dogs.
