Wayside House B&B

The establishment is self-catering, something Booking.com doesn't mention! This however, worked in our favour. It was lovely quiet and peaceful. The location was perfect and the owner - Mary was friendly, helpful and pleasant. It was equipped with everything you needed and fresh produce for breakfast, which you prepare yourself. Very pleasant 2 night stay!

Exceptional b&b. High quality and great value from start to finish. Bathroom with high quality fittings for sink, toilet and over bath shower. The lounge has a large screen HD TV with freeview access. Bedroom has freeview access on a small TV and a very comfortable king size bed. The location and setting are great, granting easy reach to many interesting locations including 'DiddlySquat' and the Farmer's Dog restaurant owned by Jeremy Clarkson.

Cooking single ceramic hob is restrictive.

Beautiful place to stay. Mary was very nice and she was helpful with local info and provided us with lovely food to make our breakfasts. The accommodation was spotlessly clean, well furnished, tasteful, quiet, very comfortable bed, lovely bathroom and a good kitchen area so we could make basic meals. The garden was lovely to sit in and our dog loved it too. The village is very pretty and it's easy to get to lots of interesting places. The suitcase stands were a nice touch as was the off street parking

There's nothing to dislike!

We had a lovely stay here, it's a B&B but with the added benefit of privacy as it is separate to the main house. This is great if you are night owls like us, as you can watch TV until late without having to worry about disturbing anyone. The facilities are great, homely and well equipted with DVDs and games. Bed is very comfortable and shower is hot and powerful. You do have to cook your own Breakfast, but good quality food is provided in the fridge, to have at your convience. This really worked for us as we are not breakfast people, so could eat it when we wanted to. Mary the host is very hospitable and can't do enough to help.

Beautiful accomodation. Immaculate, comfy, had everything I needed. Mary was very friendly and approachable and made sure our stay was pleasant. Beautiful location too
