Great central location and very comfortable room

The place was located close to town centre. Very clean room / bathroom. Room very warm, slightly less bathroom. Great / quick communication with landlords. Special request for cotton / synthetic pillow accommodated. Nice TV scream to relax and watch in the evening.

Room, location and amenities were excellent as was response to any queries or problems.

That the shared kitchenette wasn't cleaned daily, although when I rang the maintenance guy was excellent and funny and cleaned immediately. There was no where to write down, needs doing' stuff. I had no bedside lights on arrival as they weren't working which I hadn't realised until the evening if one was left in kitchen then I'm sure it would make maintenance job a lot easier.

The bed was comfortable. I enjoyed the friendly seagull looking at me through a window.

The room and en suite had a weird smell when I arrived, like someone had been eating in there not long before I arrived. The en suite sink had burn marks and there were some trains on the carpets, dirt on the curtains and stuff on the walls. The shared kitchen floor was dirty and the bins were overflowing and were not changed or cleaned at all during my stay. The people staying in the ground floor flat smoked cannabis and I could smell this from them and surrounding buildings wafting through my window.

Room was great and facilities were perfect.

Couldn’t work out the shower at the start but I think that was user error cause eventually we got it working

Really central location, very modern and clean spacious room.

The room was clean and tidy with nice lighting, lots of mirrors, beds were comfy and the shower room was a good size with hot water, loo roll and shower gel. There was a big TV with plenty to watch on Netflix etc. Hairdryer came in handy. Hanging space for coats and clothes if wanted. Carpet was soft under foot. The whole room was pretty fresh and modern. The entrance hall was clean. The kitchen was a good size, with 2 hobs, ovens, microwaves, fridge, freezer and communal cutlery etc. The owners gave us all the instructions for entering the accomodation and info on parking too, which was a two minute walk from the property, so not inconvenient at all. There is a convenience shop a couple of minutes walk away and the town centre is about 5 mins away. There are restaurants and pizza delivery close by. The sea front is a short flat walk away, with miles of sandy beach to explore. The area was very quiet, we didn't hear noise even on a Saturday night.

Not much to say other than the bin wasn't emptied in the communal kitchen. The kitchen area was a little bit grubby so had to clean it before every use. I didn't see any guests use the space so think it isn't cleaned when the rooms are done after people check out. There were lockable cupboards for each room which was a nice touch but I didn't want to store my food in them as they seemed a bit musty. The owners could make this space fantastic with a simple deep clean. Was really handy for making cheap dinners, coffee, toast etc to save on eating out at a restaurant. It was extremely hot in the rooms, with only one tiny window in the bedroom an electric fan would have been useful. It would be unbearable in summer. Two minor negatives, otherwise everything else was a pleasant surprise and we liked our little home from home, perfect for one adult and one teenager 🙂
