Old Town Traditional Residence

Very cozy place at the heart of Kavala’s old town. Nice atmosphere and very clean.

I was hoping I would get a room with a view to the sea but that was not the case. Small inconvenient things: 1) Internet was quite slow. 2) You need to manually on and off the breaker for the water boiler. After waiting 10 minutes as indicated in check in, hot water was available but finished in about 5min. 3) The steps from the top apartment could be heard loudly until very late even. 4) Toilet did not latch properly after flushing so water leaked. I had to close water supply. 5) 15 min walk to the closest parking at the port. Not an issue in itself but you need to plan for it.

The owners were very hospitable and welcoming. They made us feel at home immediately and gave us the background on the history of the house and also everything we needed to know about the city and where to go and the surrounding area.

The bathroom was outside in the back we had our own private bathroom that’s all if if I have to find something wrong that’s the only thing

Quiet place. location - historical heart of Kavala. The room was amazing, spectacular point of view from the window. Linen is like in a 5 star hotel. Bars, tavernas are in 5 mins on foot.
