Windermere Lynwood Guest House

Lovely hosts, couldn’t do enough to ensure we had a good stay. Room was quaint and cosy. Property itself is very well situated to all amenities, shops, restaurants and bus stations.

The property is central to Windermere town, a five minute walk. The room we had was on the second floor and was nicely furnished with on-suite facilities. It had a double bed which was very comfortable and tea/coffee items and a small TV. Garry the proprietor could not have been more helpful ensuring that we had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. We enjoyed our stay at the guesthouse

Nothing to dislike

Despite the accommodation itself was correct, we didn’t feel safe in it. My friends and I are three 20yo women, and a drunk man knocked twice at our door persistently, asking « if we needed company ». We had to barricade our room and call the police then. The owner didn’t show any sign of empathy to us. We paid another accommodation for the second night as we weren’t safe in this one, and we didn’t get a refund for the night we were supposed to spend in Lynwood Guest house. We don’t recommend.
