Location was great, right in the old town

It was all good, but the only thing wrong was that your key is kept in the same key safe as the other apartments keys, so it's not secure. We couldn't get into our apartment one night due to another thoughtless person staying in one of the other apartments took our key, luckily the owner told us where the spare keys were, also someone had locked the main door so we couldn't get out so had to use spare keys again to get out of main building. This was a massive fire risk. The owner needs to put up individual key safes for each apartment.

There isn't shampoo and gel shower

La ubicación es inmejorable, la habitación tenía un tamaño grande, cama grande y dos sillones, con un armario, nevera y cafetera. En los servicios no lo pone, pero si tiene secador.

El ruido de los vecinos, cruje bastante las escaleras y el techo, la bañera podria estar algo mas cuidada.

We booked this room. When we arrived, the first thing that hit us was a disgusting sour smell. Not just faint — it stank like something rotting. We opened the window, tried to unpack, opened the dresser… and there was a used diaper inside: with feces. Hot weather, god knows how long it had been there, the stench was everywhere, so strong I immediately started gagging. It was unbearable. We couldn’t stay a second longer. We grabbed our things and went outside. I texted the owner explaining what happened — no reply. Called Booking support, they told us to just find another place. Super stressful because it’s not easy to find a same-day stay, and even if you do it’s not guaranteed the owner confirms. Luckily, after some time, we managed to book something else. Only after about an hour the owner finally replied, offering us another room right next to the smelly room we booked, but we already had booked another place by that time. Then came the refund nightmare. Booking said they need the owner’s confirmation. They tried calling him but couldn’t get it, “language barrier.” Tried email too — no response, he just ignored them. I messaged him directly in the app but didn't get a response. So basically the owner can’t understand English when it comes to refunding, but somehow managed to list his property and take reservations. We called Booking multiple times, each time the same thing: they can’t reach him, they can’t resolve anything without his reply. Meanwhile we’re left hanging. That’s my experience. If you’re even thinking about booking this place, do yourself a favor and read other reviews mentioning dirt and filth. This was revolting, the worst stay I ever booked on this site.

The location was excellent.

I’m unhappy and disappointed with the hospitality. Here a just some of the reasons: - host coming into our room when we are not there turning the AC off - ⁠unclean toilet / bathroom with mould and flying bugs upon arrival and during the stay - ⁠hot water not working for 2 of the 3 showers I had at the property - unclean pillows - host taking our clothes from outside and putting them in his fridge without asking or saying anything and when asked went into our room unattended and placed them on our bed without our permission - no basic shampoo or soap for use - room smelt really bad upon arrival - host lacked communication and was quite aggressive over messages
