Inverlea Guest House

Liz was very friendly and welcoming with great communication throughout my stay. She also booked a table for me at short notice at The Fox and Willow pub next door. This pub also has an EV charger which I was able to use. My room was to the front of the property on the main road but I say that loosely as there was very little traffic at anytime. Parking on the surrounding roads was not a problem and it's only a short walk to the town or railway station.

There was nothing that I didn't like.

Everything was absolutely spotless including the lovely garden at the front. Liz and her husband were very welcoming and friendly. The breakfast was delicious with a good selection. I would highly recommend and would definitely return if up in the area again. Thank you both 😊

The perfect place to stay! We were warmly welcomed as soon as we rang the bell, by both Liz and Douglas. We arrived to find a gift from a previous guest left on the doorstep, which I took as a very good sign! The house is immaculate, it’s cosy and quiet, it even smells wonderful. We were given an option of 2 rooms and Douglas got us set up in the one we picked, even bringing our luggage up. The rooms are well set up with lovely beds, good internet, a nice tv and a great shower. And all the pillows you could ever need. Breakfast was excellent, and there was a pretty wide selection of choices. The house is right next door to a fab restaurant, and it’s not a far walk to other good food options and the rest of town. A ten minute walk finds you at the beach.

Staff could not do enough for choice of breakfast. Room good size and clean beds very comfy wished I could have stayed longer.

The twin room was comfortable, clean and beautiful. Nice little shower room, again all nice and clean. Breakfast was delicious

Everything. The location is perfect to walk into the town centre. The owners are super friendly and efficient. Rooms are spotless and well equipped We had a great nights sleep as quiet and luxurious bedding. The owners attention to detail and warm nature adds an extra tier to your stay, nothing was too much bother. To top everything off breakfast is perfect. A delicious variety and served with a friendly smile. We will return 👍
