Inverlea Guest House

Liz and Doug were very friendly and welcoming. Lovely guest house with a real homely feeling.

It was a little tricky to locate on the street as it was dark, maybe a sign with the name would be helpful or plaque by the door.

Liz & Douglas were very friendly and welcoming. The guest house is finished to a very high standard with excellent facilities. Superb breakfast. We would definitely stay again next time we are in Ayr.

Quite simply the best guest house experience we've ever had! Doug and Liz were superb and we cannot fault anything - except we were only staying for 1 night! Will definitely return.

From the moment we arrived at the property we were impressed by the appearance. The garden was akin to something you’d see at a flower show. We knew it was going to be amazing. It was. Clean, super friendly welcome from Liz, comfortable, scrumptious breakfast and wonderful banter.

The property was 50 metres from the Fox and Willow, a gorgeous bar and quality eatery. 25 metres would have been better. But seriously, it was faultless.

I only stayed for a night in Inverlea Guest House as I had to catch an early bus from Ayr the next day - if I hadn‘t already booked it, I would have stayed longer! Everything was perfect, down to the tiniest detail: the beautiful and incredibly quiet house, the extremely high quality bed and infrastructure, the lovely breakfast. But most of all, the hosts Liz and Douglas, who made me feel welcomed from the moment I stepped into the guest house. Even tho Ayr wasn‘t really on my radar of „must-visits“ in Scotland, I will probably come back just because I want to spend some more time at Inverlea!
