The host was wonderful. we were traveling by bicycles and she went out of her way to meet us and locate the property. Beautiful terrace with common area and coffee. Great location 👍

really wonderful guesthouse experience. the place is cozy and felt like home. clean room and comfortable beds. we had coffee and breakfast at on the terrace everyday and it was lovely.

we liked everything! people with mobility problems may have hard time with reaching the place due to the uphill walk up but that is not the fault of the guesthouse.

hospitality and view

This property is located on a cobblestone street in the hilltop village of Motovun. It is a short walk from the restaurants and shops on the top of the hill, although the street is steep. The furnishings are basic, not luxurious. but the bed was comfortable and the heat, air conditioner and shower worked perfectly. The room includes access to a balcony with a spectacular view of the countryside below. Our hostess served us morning croissants on that balcony, and she went out of her way to make us feel welcome, including calling for reservations at a local restaurant. The property offers great value for its cost.

There is no place to park a car on the top of the hill, but that is an attribute common to most hilltop properties in Motovun. There is parking at the bottom of the hill, with shuttle service to the top.
