Liked everything, room was clean and comfortable, proprietor was excellent very friendly and very knowledgeable of the area, would highly recommend this hotel. Will be going back.

Location , friendly helpful innkeeper.

Rooms needed painting, new carpeting…a refresher. Traffic noise very loud.

Location perfect. Host wonderful and so helpful. Breakfast delicious

John who runs it was a lovely man very pleasant and helpful near to all locations food lovely

The host was informative, location exceptional, on street parking £3/24hrs with host's permits.

The property was somewhat run down and needs a thorough clean (behind doors, skirting boards and on touch points etc) and a lick of paint It was our understanding that the hosts wife is ill, it may be a good idea to hire a housekeeper to lighten his work.

The breakfast was excellent, I really couldn’t fault it.

The shower was a little noisy and a bit difficult to stop it dripping when switched off, but now I’m being really picky.

Breakfast was fabulous and set you up for the day. The location is perfect and a stones throw away from the town centre.

John was very understanding about our late arrival due to traffic. He told us detailed information about the local area and made some wonderful suggestions. The property is perfectly located in the town. It was very clean and comfortable. It is an old and characterful building so please don’t expect a bold modern design - it is a cosy and warm b and b. John cooked us a lovely breakfast each morning too.
