Cal Day Rooms Santorini

The owner was exceptionally gracious and helpful. He gave us ideas about places and restaurants to visit. The room was EXTREMELY clean. The mattress on the bed was memory foam, and we've never slept on memory foam in a hotel. The entire place was recently built with a comfortable and cozy vibe. There was a 24-hour bakery next door. The beach was a very short walk from the hotel and had tons of souvenirs and restaurants.

The room was a bit small, but we think that is the norm on Santorini where space is at a premium, especially since we got a reasonable rate.

Excellent value for money. Very clean and pleasant structure, compact but functional, 5 minutes walk from Perissa Beach. It also has a large outdoor parking and an excellent bakery open 24 hours just downstairs. A special mention to Angelos, the owner of the place, a truly exquisite person, always available for anything and truly welcoming. I highly recommend staying at this property.

Like a second home! Great location close to the beach and very clean. The host Angelos is very welcoming and super helpful with anything! We felt right at home, recommend!

Angelos is an amazing person and the best host anyone would expect to have. the location is great, with a large parking lot just in front of the building. the room was of good size and in general in a great shape.

Perfect place to stay when you're in Santorini. During the day you can visit all places you want to see (we used atv) and in the afternoon you can chill at the beach of Perissa, which is less crowded than other parts of Santorini. We loved it. Angelos does everything to make your stay unforgettable and has many connections all over Santorini which is a great plus. He also steps in for everything you need help with (for example: we had a misunderstanding with the rental company and after one phone call Angelos was there to help us) Thank you so much Angelos!!

The location! Perissa is the BEST place to stay in Santorini. Santorini is known for Oia and Thira and although they are beautiful and well worth a visit for an afternoon or evening to watch the sunset I would not recommend staying there. Perissa has fantastic bus routes into Thira and Oia and is beautiful, with lovely people and great prices. Oia and Thira are set up to take tourists money whereas Perissa is much more of an authentic experience. You can have breakfast at the 24/7 bakery or at Tutti Frutti both over the road from Cal Day Rooms and chat to the locals and enjoy Greek food and hospitality. Angelos was probably the best host we’ve ever had the pleasure of staying with. Nothing was too much trouble, he kept reception open late for us to check out, allowed us to store luggage and change in the bathroom before going to the airport, recommeded fantastic places to eat, always said hello, replied to our WhatsApp messages in seconds and organised for the cleaner to skip our room clean one day. The cleaner was also fantastic, rooms were spotless and beautifully decorated with handmade greek ornaments. We had fresh towels every other day and there were soaps, shampoo, body wash left for us. The balcony was the perfect place to relax after the beach and they provide pegs so you can hang up your swim stuff. I could write for hours about how amazing this hotel is but I’ll stop here! Thank you Angelos & Cal Day Rooms for everything! We will be back soon hopefully.
