Cal Day Rooms Santorini

The rooms were cleaned everyday, the property is very close to the beach, shops, bars and bus stop. The staff were very friendly. I would absolutely recommend!

The only downside during our stay was the noise of the drill all day long, from morning until 8pm. As I suffer from migraines, this ruined the times when I needed to sleep a little longer or take a nap during the day.

We were greeted by our host after a delayed flight he was super helpful and recommended somewhere for us to eat. The room was clean and comfortable. The beach was a 5 minute walk away with restaurants and shops. Lovely area. We enjoyed our stay.

As Santorini is a small island and car rental was cheap, we chose Perissa Beach. Much less busy compared to other places on the island. The location of Cal Day rooms was fantastic, a 5-minute walk to the beach; the best value bar on Santorini, Dorian's, was a 3-minute walk away, and a 24-hour bakery only 50 metres from our room served great coffee and delightful bakery items. Angelos, a young man, owns and manages Cal Day Rooms; he greeted us with a huge smile as we pulled up in the carpark, as he had asked us when we were arriving. He is a perfect example of how someone should run a small accommodation business; nothing was too much trouble. The room was very comfortable; we could not fault anything. Thank you Angelos!

The structure is located a few minutes walk from Perissa beach. The area is quiet with lot of places to eat both inside the town and along the beach. From the terrace you can enjoy the view of the mountains behind. Breakfast was served to us every day in the room and it was a pleasure to wake up with a view, sun and breakfast waiting for us. The breakfast was rich and abundant, Angelos was open to any request we had. The rooms were equipped with everything we needed and the daily cleanliness was excellent. In conclusion it was an excellent choice for us!

Staying at Angelos’ place was an absolutely wonderful experience. From the moment we arrived, it felt less like staying in a guesthouse and more like visiting family. Our room was beautifully decorated, clean, and thoughtfully arranged to make us feel at home. Angelos himself was an exceptional host — warm, attentive, and always ready to help. One of the recent additions to the stay is the option to order breakfast in the morning, which we tried one day — and we were genuinely impressed. It was fresh, delicious, and beautifully served. We highly recommend this option, especially if you don’t feel like searching for a breakfast spot or simply want a relaxed start to your day. The location is also excellent. Just a few steps away, you can rent a scooter and easily explore the entire island at your own pace. What’s more, there’s a lovely beach nearby with soft sand and a peaceful atmosphere. Compared to other parts of Santorini, this area feels calm and quiet — a perfect place to relax and unwind, which we truly appreciated. Another big plus: the rooms are cleaned every single day — something we find to be quite rare in this type of accommodation. It truly made a difference and added to the sense of comfort and care. Angelos, we travel a lot, but we’ve never met a host as genuinely kind and dedicated as you. You were there for us at any hour, answering every question with a smile and going above and beyond to make our stay special. If you’re looking for a place to stay on Santorini that combines comfort, authenticity, and heartfelt hospitality — this is it. We would return in a heartbeat and wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone looking for a truly memorable stay.
