Unfortunately, the location was the only positive aspect of our stay.

The most serious issue was a bed bug infestation in our room; we woke up with clear clusters and lines of itchy bites. This demonstrates a clear hygiene issue, and made us both extremely uneasy. Additionally, the room was incredibly uncomfortable. We stayed during a 33°C heatwave, and the single fan provided was entirely inadequate. The room trapped heat to the point where it felt hotter inside than outdoors - there were nights we were unable to sleep from discomfort. This was made worse by an extremely uncomfortable mattress. The shower and toilet facilities were also poor and below a basic standard.

The accomodation is in a very central position, right next to the 4-6 tramline, aka the bloodline of the city. There are a number of bars, restaurants, and grocery stores nearby.

The accomodation was very dirty, including the common areas and the room itself, which also had a slightly broken wall inside. However, it was borderline impossible to exist in the room, as it has no air conditioning, and the temperature inside the room was around 8 degrees Celsius higher than in the rest of the accomodation. The host does provide a ventilator unit, but it is only a minor help, when outside it is 22 degrees, and in the room it's 30. Without an air conditioning unit, staying in this room in the summer is almost impossible, and made our one night stay a misery.
