The Uma Guesthouse

The grounds were beautiful and relaxing with a lovely green oitlook and fields and swimming pool. It's peaceful and quiet, considering it is about 100m from the horrendously busy and noisy main road in Canguu. Rooms are nice and comfortable. Shower water pressure not great but acceptable A fridge and jug in the room would make it perfect. But they have these a short walk away in the outside kitchen area if you need or want them. I loved my time there. A little Oasis

Lovely staff but very few spoke any English so at times it was a struggle. They were so nice and helpful though when we finally got through this part.

It was okay for one night

Noisy neighbours up very late by the pool, the shower barely works, the bathroom is very dirty and lots of flies and bugs, the room wasn’t ready on time, I think the other rooms are okay but the 2 rooms separate by the pools are a no go

It was ok for a night, the room size was fine. Very quiet and nice view.

The property wasn't very clean, and the bathroom was a disaster. The shower had very low pressure and wasn't clean. Also, it smelled moldy. For what you get, the price is definitely too high.

Beautiful peaceful green setting. Room is nice, I was alone so nice to have some (slightly dated) movies to watch in the late evening. Quite well soundproofed which is unusual for Bali. No squawking roosters nearby!! Nice swimming pool. Outdoor(covered) bathroom which was quite nice

Staff were absolutely lovely but didn't speak any English except for one who wasn't always working. But we managed through Google translate! Shower heads only produced light thin stream of water but it wasn't any real issue for me. Others may like a stronger pressured shower.

Good value for the money. The room itself was very clean, tastefully decorated, the bed was comfortable with spotless bedsheets. The wifi is decent - managed to have a few online meetings with no audio issue, although video was lagging. The garden is beautiful and well maintained. The location is good as it is in a quieter neighbourhood, yet just minutes by motorbike from happening canggu. Excellent cafe nearby, and good laundry service. Would definitely return.

While ok, the bathroom could receive more love, both in terms of cleanliness and upgrade. Not an issue for a few days though. During my stay the neighbours were scaring the birds from the rice fields which created some noise during the day, but still very quiet at night.

No water in the room, AC could work better. Water in the pool was very very hot. It’s also worth mentioning that the area is pretty loud. There is a rice field right by the pool and view is nice but the owner has some installation there that is making crazy noises from early morning till sunset.
