Umah Kayu Ubud

Very cute patio for relaxing on, and also a good swimming pool (though a bit of stairs to go down to it). It was nice that it looked a little bit like being out in nature while still being in walking distance from the main Ubud city center. Fairly quiet, aside from one dog barking. We didn't have the breakfast so can't comment on that. They do have a kitchen you can use.

Funny complaint, but it was a bit dark - like, there wasn't much lighting in there and the windows were a bit blocked so you wouldn't get light from there either. Also, lots of stairs.

Very quiet comparing to other guesthouse I stayed in ubud, no motorcycles, not many roosters the bedding is extremely comfortable - both my friend and I feel fully recharged when we woke up from the good sleep

There was a long and narrow road to get into the guesthouse. It is accessible by car, but it is very narrow. When we had breakfast, there were lots of mosquitoes (but they lighted up the incense for us).

The location was great, and it was a convenient walk to both food and massages. The room we stayed in had tons of natural light, which was a lovely feature, plus a view of the beautiful pool. We did not try out the pool, but it looked great. The bed was clean and crisp, which was appreciated. Breakfast came as it was ordered, and the fruit on the side was fresh and yummy. The staff was kind and helpful, but I think they spoke a little less English than many other hosts we experienced, so just be aware that it might take a little effort to communicate needs or wants you may have.

This property has an earlier checkout time than anywhere else we stayed and hustled us along a little bit, but otherwise, this place was great. Breakfast was provided slightly later than we requested, so this made out timeline a little hectic at the end of our one-night stay. The bed needed a bug net since the walls are of loose construction and mosquitos like to fly in! Another minor complaint is that there was not mini fridge, and all our other stays had this feature, which is very convenient for chilling water. This property offers a communal fridge in the downstairs "kitchen" area. So just be aware.

i loved the location and facilities were perfect. Ayu told me about places to go locally, and due to the next night being fully booked, she made sure that i could stay for 2 more nights after that. Wayan helped me get a scooter and I took 2 days to travel north for some waterfall and trekking adventures. When i returned, i was welcomed and had 2 more nights.

Nice location, feels like you are in the middle of the jungle - with no noise from the outside - yet within a few minutes walk close to restaurants and shops (and 20-30 min walk to the Monkey Forest). Large room with comfortable bed, wardrobe, and small desk.

Breakfast options are limited but we asked for extra fruit which was very nice. The bathroom needs an update.

Truly amazing. Loaction perfect-just 5 minutes from the noisy main road so you don't hear any traffic sounds only small animals and insects from the little forest in the backyard. Comfy beds and pillows, AC, breakfast on the terrace while looking in the lush greens, a small infinity pool. We hired their driver for 3 whole days (and also from the airport) for a really fair price; he is an amazing young guy, polite, kind and drives very carefully. We had an amazing time with him. And the rest of the staff is amazing, caring and kind, easy communication. We couldn't have picked a better place for our stay in Bali!

We loved our stay here. Everyone was so helpful and kind. They helped us arrange many activities around ubud.

Great location. Wayan sorted me out with a scooter and Ayu made sure that I had everything I needed. Amazing staff who go the extra mile and are happy to stop for a chat, loved the location and bed was super comfy. The outdoor warm bath was an added extra in room 2 and I spent 2 hours resting my legs after a few days of trekking.

The staff were so lovely and the area was so peaceful! Perfect for somewhere to relax from the chaos of Bali!
