Kathy’s Place

Staff was very friendly and helpfully. Facilities were great and great restaurants were nearby. Very good price for what you get. The staff can arrange really nice activities. The beds were also comfortable. A really good base for exploring Karimunjawa.

I maybe missed a place to lay out some clothing like a cabinet for that, but overall no complaints!

A wonderful place to stay in the main town of Karimunjawa. The bed was super comfy & the shower as well, good pressure & warm water. The wifi works great & there is a fully equipped kitchen if you want to cook something. Also water, coffee & tea is provided. The host is really friendly & helps you to arrange things as boat tickets, excursions & scooters.

Only downside that the maintenance of the bathroom could be a bit better for western standards. Such as limescale on the shower & toilet. It looks not that new anymore as on the pictures.

I recently stayed at Kathy's Place and was impressed by its simplicity, excellent price, and prime location. The well-maintained facilities and homey vibe made for a comfy stay, while the informative and helpful staff enhanced the experience. Thank you, Mas Icang. Most notably, their commitment to marine conservation, including adopting coral and educating guests about not consuming parrotfish, sets this place apart. Highly recommended for budget-friendly, environmentally conscious travelers.
